Reza is currently the Manager of Structural Engineering and Risk Mitigation at ImageCat, Inc., providing risk management consulting solutions for natural hazards. He has more than 10 years of combined research and practice experience in analysis, risk evaluation, and design of structures subjected to multi-hazard loading conditions and extreme events. Reza is a licensed Structural Engineer and holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University at Buffalo (SUNY). Prior to joining ImageCat, Reza was involved in various seismic design, risk assessment, and retrofit projects both within the U.S. and internationally from commercial, sports, education, and healthcare sectors. Reza has significant experience in Forensic Engineering, using advanced analytics and engineering principles to investigate causes of failure or other concerns in the behavior of structures.
